Oh, summer's finally here! I time to relax, go to the beach, and just veg out, right? No! I'm working 30+ hours a week and during the summer I'm going to be taking CISCO networking certification courses, studying PHP, and brushing up on Photoshop and my pencil skills. I really want to tackle shading and hair colors/layers.

I'm also planning on starting a BIG project: an Full Metal Panic animated short. Over the spring semester, I worked on an animated short using 3DS max and traditional 2D animation. The 2d part is pretty rough because I was rushing to get it done. It's still not 100%, in fact. I ran into a snag with one scene and put it off. It WILL get done in the next week or two, though.

Here's the plan: I want to make a trailer about two minutes in length to advertise the next season of Full Metal Panic. The next season doesn't exist yet, of course. I'll be basing it off of the novels. I'm going to take my time doing it and try to recruit a few other people to help. I think it will be kick-ass if it's done right.
